Hands-on Professional Development for Educators Featuring Laser Technologies, 3D Printing, & Computer-Aided Design – with Optional Graduate Credits Available
Concord, NH – May 17, 2016 — Tech Ed Concepts, Inc. (TEC), Experienced Provider of Design-to-Manufacturing Solutions and Teaching Labs, is excited to host its 22nd Annual TEC Summer Institute (TSI) this July in Concord, NH.
Exclusively designed for Educators, TSI provides hands-on training and classroom materials designed to assist technology and engineering educators by increasing their knowledge of Laser Technologies, 3D Printing, and Computer-Aided Design. Throughout July, TEC will be offering a choice of one, two or three days of hands-on training seminars and workshops taught by certified professional instructors at TEC’s in-house TECnology Center. Attendees have the option of earning 6 PDU hours for the one-day workshops and up to two graduate credits for the two- or three-day seminars. Graduate credits are being offering through Keene State College, an affiliate of the University System of New Hampshire. TEC Summer Institute is one of a select few programs able to offer professional development graduate credits to educators through a partnership with Keene State College.
“An important component of TEC Summer Institute is the interaction between Educators from across North America, “ states Richard Amarosa, Founder and President of TEC. “Instructors are able to collaborate, network and take home new classroom and curriculum ideas exchanged with fellow attendees. As a former educator, I’ve witnessed how valuable this exchange can be.”
TSI for Educators has also been featured in Tech Directions Magazine as one of the “Terrific Ten Training and Certification Programs.”
